thali = yummy

yesterday for lunch had a thali from udupi (located in berkeley on university). udupi is an all vegetarian restaurant with a focus on south indian cuisine. the thali i had was pretty tasty. it got me to thinking about one of the thalis geoffrey, ryan, and I had while in kerala a few years back. kerala is in the very southern part of india. it was the last part of our trip while traveling and visiting with ryan for 2 weeks. we ate this thali after we went of a boat tour of kerala's backwaters.
